New true talent will come and someday again there will be a revolution. It always happens no matter what. Just gotta wait for the winds of time to change and restructure itself.

We've had a few like that recently. Kanye West? He pretty much ripped these so called "gansta rappers" a new one. Jennifer Hudson has pretty much become the anti-Beyonce. You also have a lot of old schoolers coming back into the game to shut down these young cats.

I personally think the next phenomenon in Hip-Hop is going to be Drake. The kid from Degrassi, not only is he talented. He's possitive, Isn't a "Gangsta" rapper, hell he hasn't released great album and he is already being talked about with the great names in music.

I personally don't see any good talent that stands in male R&B expect for Ne-Yo.

And yeah, while talent still shows up, there's just too much overall noise for anyone to really take the entire planet by storm.

Michael was both supremely talented and we had a narrow funnel in which we got out entertainers. That double whammy made it so that when he hit, he hit the entire planet.

This generation doesn't have a person similar to Michael Jackson. If you think about it, what does this generation have? 20-50 years ago compared to now, **** is completely different.

No kidding.

Hence all the hype over Jackson's death. He was a huge icon.


We probably won't see any modern artists come close to that in our lifetime.
