I've watched Kuuga-Ryuki with my dad when they first came out. I've shown video clips of Faiz till Decade.

When he was a kid, he enjoyed Kamen Rider as I did. But he sorta grew out of it when he grew up. Though he doesn't mind watching clips with me today...

Of course Den O isnt the greatest rider, but it's pretty good and hell it's a kids show. Amazing, its gonna have dumbass qualities. Obviously Toei did something right and finally targeted those 8 year olds watching it.
