This movie looks bad ass and my most trusted movie critics have exploded in orgasm, their eyes wide with strain over this flick.

Here's t3h trailer

Yes, I would go see it specifically for Jessica Alba. However, I've heard on one of those entertainment shows that the movie is a frame by frame retellingof the comic book, which I think will hurt ticket sales. If you had read an entire series in one form, would you pay to see it again? That, and the fact that it will be in black and white (mostly) will hurt it, since people nowadays can't stand anything that doesn't have 100 colors splashed on the screen with kinetic editting so fast you can't tell if you've seen a man or a woman on screen. I blame MTV, I truly do.

But for me, I would go see it since
1. I like movies in B&W
2. I've never read the comic, but heard it was good, so it will be new to me
3. The aforementioned Jessica Alba

I read the comics a long time ago, and they blew me away. That was back before there was much else to read besides super hero comics.

Word I read was this is a grand new experience in retelling this.

I don't know how the public will recieve this. Word of mouth from critics seem like it's pretty impossible not to like this film.

I'm mainly going to see it for more Robert Rodriguez and Quinten Tarantino work. I loved everyone on of their movies and even the disappointing Once Upon a Time in Mexico was relentlessly fun at least.

I have been wanting to see this movie since I heard it was being made. The one thing that stands out for me, a comic book geek, is Frank Miller. He wrote and drew the comic...He also co-wrote and co-directed the movie along w/ Robert Rodriguez, who is like a god. The man's only bad movie is "Spy Kids 3"....I'm really looking forward to it, cause it's got a shitload of stars in it.
