showdown of the "comedy sentai"

Even if there is some comedy and silliness in every sentai series, some series are mainly comedic with a light tone, when others are mainly dramatic.
What is you favorite comical sentai?

Nothing can ever beat Kakuranger and CAAAAAARANGER!!

I guess Kakuranger, never seen Carranger and I don't have anything interest in watching Go-Onger.


But, I don't think Kakuranger was a purely comedy Sentai, it had it's really serious moments.

Kakuranger had a pretty abrupt switch in tone about halfway through - suddenly it became a lot more "LET'S GET DANGEROUS OK GUYS " So I wouldn't call it an overall comical Sentai. I do like Go-onger but in this case I've had to vote for Carranger

I've not seen a whole lot, but I have to cast my vote to Carranger.

Comedy is what they have set out to do, and they did it well.

Kakuranger has a serious tone in plot-heavy episodes ; in sentai series most of these episodes are in the second half;but even in its second half, there is still a comical tone in filler episodes (and there are a lot of them); moreover Go-onger has also its serious moments (example: yogoshimacritein plot); that's why I still included kakuranger. (however, I admit that the tone is much more comical before Junior's appearance, because the series's plot really begins there)
