i actually have been knocking an idea around in my head for several years, but never actually put them to paper. the Ranger were called Guardian Force ( i had originally based them off of Power Rangers, not Sentai) they would have an ecosystem/animal theme for the first three and the other three would be just elements/ Mythical Creatures
Guardian Gold: Jungle/Gorilla
Guardian Silver: Mountain/Goat
Guardian Bronze; Ocean/Turtle
Guardian Black: Fire/Dragon
Guardian White: Wind/Griffon
Guardian Knight: Thunder/Thunderbird
it's a llitle wired, nit usung conventional colors and such, but i like it

Ongaku Jamu Gakushienger!
It's music based, each member representing a different style of music.
Sakebi Gakushi, GakuRed [Screaming Musician, MusicRed]: Rock music based. His weapon is an electric guitar/sword. Uses an unnamed acrobatic karate style for hand to hand combat. Robot is a red lion.
Taizen Gakushi, GakuBlue [Mellow Musician, MusicBlue]: Jazz music based. His weapon is a trumpet/cannon. Fights with hit-and-run tactics. Robot is a blue elephant.
Heion Gakushi, GakuYellow [Peaceful Musician, MusicYellow]: Classical music based. Her weapon is a violin/bow and arrow. Fights from a distance defensively. Robot is a yellow falcon.
Enkai Gakushi, GakuBlack [Partying Musician, MusicBlack]: Dance music based. His weapon is a keyboard/ax. Uses a kamikaze-esque fighting style. Robot is a black bear.
Ukiuki Gakushi, GakuPink [Upbeat Musician, MusicPink]: Pop music based. Her weapon is a microphone/whip. Slowly wears down her opponent by attacking with quick strikes. Robot is a pink tiger.
Ryuuchou Gakushi, GakuSilver [Flowing Musician, MusicSilver]: 6th Ranger, Rap music based. His weapon is a microphone/staff. Fights with a break-dancing fighting style. Robot is a silver wolf.
