Exactly. Take the heads, for example--Kruger's is more streamlined and dog-like in appearence, so it looks more realistic to me. Whereas Anubis looks to much like a Muppet.

Well now, I didn't say it was "better." I just said better designed. More money, scuplting, quality of materials, and the final result that creates a being versus simple materials and a puppet jaw that moves up and down.

From a design standpoint, Anubis just has Doggie beat.

But for me, that doesn't make it definitavitly better. I like what they Japanese did with what they have and with less materials still made and unforgetable character that you look up to. A blue furry puppet headed dog-man, that I think looks no less ridiculous than a blue scaly alien dog-man.

Different but equal in my eyes. Doggie's got somethings a bit better than Anubis and Anubis has some things better than Doggie.

It's okay that they tried to make him look more realistic, but he's a DOG, not a fish... maybe in the future they have dog/fish/Miss Cleo mixed breeds, but we needed some warning...

Why doesn't it surprise me if Disney does use the "PLANT" from Magiranger and then end up over doing it...they're gonna give it legs, sunglasses, and speak surfer and then allow it to do a happy dance...
