Seven Star God Guyferd

Forever Knight

Eye See You
I have a chance right now to grab the series and I've heard nothing about it except it has a sad ending.

Anyone here watch Guyferd? If so can you let me know if it's any good and what the story beind the series is?.

From what I've seen, I liked it a lot. It seems to get a lot of heat for being weak in the acting and fight areas, but it kept me entertained, and I thought the storyline and costume designs were both really good. Depending on how much it is, I'd go ahead and get it. Shadowrider raves about it, I'll bet he'll go into more detail.

The word "Guyborg" owns you. Seriously though, from what I've heard (and seen of this), I'd get it, unless I was being charged a lot of money for it, since its only half as long as your average Tokusatsu show.

(BTW, I was looking on Fansubs2000 a long time ago and I remember it having some episodes of Guyferd subbed, not sure which; it wasn't many. Anyone have those, or any idea about where they came from?)

I had been working on a review for the series, but as there are still some parts to the story I still don't fully understand I haven't got around to finishing it. Still I did enjoy Guyferd. I definitely recommend it for anyone who is a fan of both the early new gen Rider shows and the Cho Sei Shin Series, because it shares similar elements of both (plus at least a couple of actors from Gransazer are in it). And anyone who liked the Black Sun and Shadowmoon conflict from Kamen Rider BLACK should like the similar conflict that takes place in Guyferd.

As far as the ending to the series goes, I would describe it as sad, but more so I was really surprised by it. Though I really respected how it was done. It is one of my favorite toku endings.

....and with that I shall grab it.

Another question, how is the music in the series?. Is it anything like Gransazers?.
