Seven Star Fighting God Guferd

Hope you like it. I finished rewatching Guyferd a couple weeks ago and it was even better the second time around. I noticed stuff I had missed before and I think I understand the story a little better.

The action also wasn't as bad as I had initially said before. There are some good fights throughout the series, my favorite though is the final battle at the end with the main villain. By far one of the most badass looking villains ever.

Shadowrider, might I ask how much you paid for your DVD's, which are the official releases if I'm correct.

I'm not sure but I think some of the character names and descriptions aren't 100% accurate there. I've watched the show twice all the way through and a couple random eps in between that and I'm pretty sure the little boy in the series is name Yuu and not Ryu.

Here's another site in Japanese though:

Kyo28 - I pre-ordered them from Amazon Japan. So I paid about 7,200 Yen for each volume. Regular price was 9000 yen without the consumer tax, which I of coarse didn't have to pay.

Definitely. She beats up many minions and even takes on some on some of the monsters. Plus she even gives Gou (Guyferd) a run for his money in a couple eps.

Hell Yes.

I loved her ever since episode 1 of Gransazer. I hope she does her infamous side kick, which poor Tenma always recieved.

Watched ep 1 and 2 and thought it was a good introduction. The series gives me a feeling of Gransazer meets Metalder. It's got a really dark production tone to it, kinda gritty.

Mika (still refering to her GS name) kicks alotta ass. In episode 2 her and the brother pulled off some nice fighting. These have to be the COOLEST kids in Tokusatsu period. Not annoying, actually cool.

Gou seems pretty awesome and really fits well into these unique realistic fight scenes.

One question I've got right now is, I know Crown kidnapped Gou to turn him into a Guyborg but how did the Guyferd suit form around him without it being given to him?. That's the only part that left me with some confusion. Other than that a killer start!. :buttrock:

Yeah, I love the kids in Guyferd. They are never just helpless standers-by. They actually help Gou fight Crown, especially later on when they get a couple of "tools" to give them a fighting boost.

As far as Gou "evolving" into Guyferd. It has to do with this Farra Parasite. The parasite causes people to mutate into monsters, but when infecting someone like a Guyborg it changes them into a more powerful "Metalferd." I don't remember if they showed Gou being infected when he was made into a Guyborg (like the guy who became to monster in episode 1 - I doubt it), but later on in the series we learn more about Gou's history with Farra.
