No, that really isn't Seth's formula at all it's more like:

Big stupid pigheaded idot with hot wife, children, and talking pets get into wacky and zany adventures for the sake of moral values
 
Well this has potential. If done right, it can be a heartwarming film with a life lesson. If not, then it'd be hollywood trash.

I've always thought that "If it ain't broke" phrase was extremely flawed.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with Seth's cliche stories that all seem to blend together, but after seeing the same thing for a while, it's nice to see something new and different. And based on this trailer, I just don't feel like this movie is going to be the thing that shows the world that Seth can break his own mold.
 

It looks like Family Guy but reverse. Ted is Peter/Stewie and the boy is Brian, Meg/Lois is standard hot chick and.....:redface2:

The only good thing he has is American Dad. Family Guy is meg.

More along the line of the family guy pitch on CN awhile back , but yeah...it's gonna take helluva of a GREAT STORY to really push me to see this and absorb it into my collective of faves to ignore the cliche.
 
This looks awesome, I love the thunder song and then when he starts naming off every white trash female name there is.

The Cleveland show has no talking pets. only talking bear who owns his own house.
