Sentai Changeman & Magiranger DVDs

I have the full set of Changeman. 55 episodes on 6 DVDs, though it doesn't have subs. I also have volume 5 of Magiranger. 4 episodes (17-20) on 1 DVD. Sub selctions are in English and Chinese.

Changeman DVD set is $15. Shipping is included in the price. Magiranger DVD is $7. Shipping is included in the price. If both are ordered together the price down to an even $20.

Also, if anyone is able to make 6 Changeman DVD volume covers for me, I will give ya a set free.

For some reason these caps came out skinny. Not sure why, but when watching it on the TV it's full screen, wider and a little clearer. The quality of the sound I would say is 9-9.5/10.

The picture quality on this DVD is real clear. I'd say 10/10 and the sound is 10/10.

That's a flatout LIE man! 9.5 or 10 /10 is something that only the original DVD's can offer, not TV encodes burned to DVD or whatever. Even on the screenshots people can see pixelisation :redface2:

Seriously, if I were a mod here, I would try to do something about all this commercial **** going down here. Eventually someone is gonna get hurt/mad and it won't be pretty.

I've got those same Changeman Discs and it's about an 8 at the most in quality. No way is it a 10.

There's more than 1 encoder in the world. There's more than 1 program used to encode videos. Maybe your's is from a different encode... maybe?

Notice how you made a mistake? I said the Magiranger DVD was 10/10. As you can see those screen caps are very clear and the sound is flawless.

For Changeman, the quality of the sound is 9-9.5/10. Simply put, the sound is clear. You can heart it. There's a little background nose at some points, but I never said the picture for Changeman was 10/10. And if you read, I said the program used to take the screen caps blurs them. I'm not stupid. I have capture the video with my DVD program and save it through Paint. Paint also blurs my images more than they original.

People jump the gun and don't read things fully.

Plus, people buy what they want. The way you put it, there's only 1 set of these DVDs going around, so the buyer would know they are getting burned copies.

xforgivemex, no offense but you're the one who needs to get his facts straight.

First of all, your Magiranger DVD's are taken from TV encodes. No question about that as the timestamp is on it. There are indeed various encodes floating around, but the Magiranger encodes I have are of one of Japan's top encoders, namely t3FULZaL3S (people who know their stuff will understand who I'm talking about).
Now, this means I can compare and see what quality your DVD's would have at best. They're nice encodes (the t3FULZaL3S ones), but still the official DVD's look better.
You gave yours 10/10, yet they're of lower quality than the official DVD's. So what grade do you give the official DVD's then? 12/10? It doesn't makes sense and anyone giving TV encodes a 10/10 mark clearly doesn't know how to grade.

Your Changeman grade completely goes down the drain. This hasn't been released on official DVD's yet, and as such your source must be either tapes or Toei Channel broadcasts. No way is the sound or picture quality a 9 or 9.5. The Toei Channel, I would give an 8 at most, the tapes are probably even worse considering this series is pretty old. So here again, you overgraded.

In the end, people buy what they want but if everyone starts grading like this, eventually someone's going to get pissed off for getting lower quality than what they thought they were going to get. I don't have anything personnally against you, I just believe you grade too high, probably because you have no reference to measure those encodes up to (e.g. official DVD's). As such, I would suggest lowering your grades.

The funny thing here is - you need to get your facts straight. I never once said anything of mine was official - NEVER. You just accused me of saying it, which I never did - NEVER.

Yes, as I said the Changeman is lower quality then my Magiranger. Changeman does have great picture, but like I said the program used to capture my images has to go through 3 programs, and the resolutions go get worse. Do you use SnatchIt? He you do, then you know what I mean. My Magiranger is of great quality even though it was taken from the TV. But, like I said, he who jumps the gun is the one to blame. I never said they were official like you are accusing me of.

By the way, one of the fellow members who is an active poster here, got this set before I even posted this topic. I was directed here by him. So, app. one of your fellow members thinks they are good enough quality.

Where did I accuse you of saying that your DVD's are official ones? Please use the quote button to show EXACTLY where I'm saying that, because I didn't.

All I said is that if you use the official DVD's as a reference, then you can't give a TV encode, no matter how good a 10/10 grade.

Also, as I already stated, I don't use your screenshots as a reference, I use my own TV encodes as a reference (encodes made by t3FULZaL3S, the highest TV encodes around for Japanese TV programs).

Well someone did say it. Not sure which of the two, but I had read the post through my emails before heading over to post replies, thus the reason I said that. However, one post has been edited to remove stuff. Wouldn't be shocked if another post had been edited as well.

Oh well. I just won't post here anymore. Maybe that will make you happy. I mean if you have something against what I posted, it would have been better just to stay out and not even reply to something I have no need in.

People can decide if they want them on their own or not. They don't need people to post 100000 replies "that's burnt copies" though I never said they wasn't nor did I claim them as official. I'm sorry you grades don't match others. No reason to complain. If people want them, they want them. If they don't, they don't. If they want to see them bad enough or never have they can tell by the caps as you say. That must be why I got 3 orders off this site since I posted. Oh well. My bad.
