Sentai 2012 EX: Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger

Gai be kind of meta and poke fun at some Sentai tropes, but I guess it was how Toei is now too afraid to "break the illusion."

I thought that when Niibori cameoed, that Gai would at least notice him or in some way call him out.

Nice opening. I think it's funny that we spent weeks debating about the merits of having an adult Super Sentai series, and it turns out that Akibaranger is actually not adult at all. The behind-the-scene look at sentai series is the real reason for Toei to air it in early morning, not anything to do with nudity or whatnots.
