Now I'd seen a few eps of gingaman, I thought this series is not bad at all. Sure that kid is abit annoying and baraban team is abit of funny too. Still Series is not popular and very rare on net. thanks for making this rare thread:thumbs: :thumbs: .

Gingaman was my first Sentai ever, so it will always be special to me. I ordered a tape of it years ago and I was instantly hooked. After seeing that one tape, any spare money I had went to getting the rest of the series.

My favorite episodes were always the Shelinda vs. Hayate ones. Their feud could've stemmed from something a little deeper than a cut on her arm, but still. Those were always the episodes I looked forward to. Shelinda was the reason I gave Sentai a try in the first place.

The biggest shock to me when I first watched was Sanbasshu. At the time, I didn't know much about Gingaman outside of Shelinda's character. So I went into it expecting Villamax. Imagine my surprise! To go from an honorable warrior to a gun wielding, unruly loud mouth was quite a drastic change. Although I still liked Sanbasshu, even if he wasn't at all what I'd expected. Looking back, I think he would be my favorite of the four generals.

I don't know how far you have gone, but you'll find the Budou arc quite interesting, specially having known Villamax.

I finished up Ginga years ago, actually. It had slipped my mind, but Budou was the one to end up with the Villamax-like personality; over all calm nature, living with honor, ect. Its like Saban swapped the two for some reason.

I'm looking to clarify something here. I'm not good with Japanese so I didn't quite understand what was going on in Episode 9. Was the kitten actually Gingat, or was it a baby Gingat?
