Sean McKeever Takes Over Titans

I usually like Sean's work, but he turned me off of Teen Titans and he doesnt look like he's helping Titans much with his first issue.

Judd Winick's run wasnt the best either (this roster's never truley recovered creativly since Geoff's departure), but at least he was clearing up the mess left behind by OYL and moving characters back into better posistions closer to 2005 under Geoff. Sean is giving the team the usual "new writer, new angst" dillemas...only it doesnt gel in-character with where Judd had left them emotionally. This felt like something he ought to have done much later.

There's no gurantee Sean will remain the regular writer, he's only on board until they can replace Judd (who's now going to write Batman), it's possible this is just a side-story that will stand on it's own until they know what the next step is.

The best Titans title presently remains Terror Titans

I read his first issue of Titans and I was really disappointed. Especially with his take on Starfire, which is completely wrong. I do like his work of TT, however.

This book needs the kind of help that only Marv Wolfman can give it.
