[Anime] SDF-1 Macross talkback

Just finished SDF-1 Macross a lil bit ago.. I laughed, I cried, I got angry at Lynn Kaifun; all in all, a blast to watch that I'd gladly recommend to anyone.

The show gets a <3 from me.

For me, this is the only Macross series. The rest are bland, boring, uninteresting, or too philosophical. The original has a perfect balance between them all even if the writing is clumsy at times. Never saw the ADV dub as I have the DVDs Animeigo released.

You must stop disqualifying yourself from having an opinion. It's getting to be a thing with you.

Honestly, I also prefer to pretend Macross 2, Seven, Zero, and Frontier don't exist.

But Macross Plus is totally worth watching.

Macross Plus is not bad, but its final episode completed ruined the series for me. I felt like they just decided to cop out on the ending.
