Scott Snyder recently shared some exciting details about the upcoming 'Absolute Batman' animated series. According to him, this adaptation won't just be a direct copy of the comic. Instead, it aims to deepen the characters and expand the story using the strengths of animation. Snyder's perspective on blending the original material with new insights is something I can really get behind.

"We want to make something that honors the comic but also finds new ways to tell the story,"

he said, which has me curious about what creative directions they'll take.

Can't wait to see how this unfolds!

I've always admired Scott Snyder's ability to push the boundaries of Batman's character, especially in stories like "Court of Owls." The idea that this new animated series will dig deeper into the characters is really exciting, especially coming from someone with a strong grasp of both the source material and the potential of animation. It reminds me a bit of how "Batman: The Animated Series" took Batman's psyche and expanded it in ways that still resonate today, like in the "Heart of Ice" episode, where Mr. Freeze's backstory turned him into a tragic figure rather than just a villain.

I'm curious to see how they'll explore the themes that Snyder has woven into his comics with a fresh lens. Do you think they'll incorporate any new characters or details we haven't seen in animation before?
