Sazer-X ends in June!

今日の朝日新聞に、特撮ヒーロー番組の商品展開について、かなり大きい記事がのっているんですが、その中に。

超星艦隊セイザーX、６月で放送終了。

この｢セイザーX｣は６月で終了。
第４作の予定はない。

東宝の関係者｢まあ、３作目で一区切りということですよ｣

この件について、コナミは、ノーコメントであった。

Damn if this turns out to be true: Sazer-X will stop being broadcasted in June and no 4th Seishin series is planned. Source is supposed to be Asahi Shinbun, a serious newspaper so I fear this may hold true. :bawling:

By far the best toku show this year and already they'll cancel it so early ... it's just so ... not right :disappoin

Can someone confirm or reject this info?

Sorry I don't have access to that particular forum, but I know there had been rumors in the past. However, this is the first time a more or less official source apparantly confirmed it.

Sazer-X? The best Toku this year? Wow, people really are not impressed with Boukenger. (I get the complaints about Kabuto.)

Anyways. I hate that there will be no 4th Cho Sei Shin series, since I'm just getting into Gransazer and I'm loving it. One wonders...if there will be no CSS or Kamen Rider series next year...what will TV-N do?

I'm not bothered one way or the other but if other shows can take extended breaks before returning, why can't this?

holy crap. Only 38 episodes??? No more after this? Well that sucks. That means the show is almost over. I was really looking forward to seeing what they would do on their 4th year.

By the way, when in the HELL are we going to get a second ending theme for Sazer-X? lol. I hate that song. I skip to the preview all the time.

Maybe the Cho Sei Shin series just didn't get very much ratings in Japan (it's country of origin). Not even Sazer X did very well with the kiddies. :laugh:
