I do feel sorry for her because her father died of cancer and her second eldest brother died in a car wreck. I don't think that she is a bitch, she probably just had a bad day.

Not trying to be a dick here, but she's had plenty of time to mourn her father and brother's deaths. She's 21 years old now. Her father died when she was still in Junior High (aged 13 or 14) and her brother a couple of years later. I'm sorry, but if you think she's using that as an excuse for her behaviour, it's unrealistic not to mention unbelieveable.

Did she have a bad day? Maybe. But you'll be lucky to find people who'd accept deaths in the family from 6 or 7 years ago to be an acceptable excuse. It also still doesn't excuse her lack of professionalism, which she herself admitted to. She's an actress who's in the public eye. Regardless of what she's going through in her public life, she has commitments to fulfill and the show must go on.

Everyone deals with loss differently, just because you or a lot of people get over things fast doesn't mean it will take others that same amount of time. She was what? 13, maybe 14 when it happened? I can't imagine the type of devastation that would have on her and then to lose her brother such a short time later, it's crazy to think she'd get over it pretty fast.

I think everyone's making a big deal out of nothing though. Yeah, she shouldn't have acted this way, we know that, she knows that, she's apologized, let's move on. Sometimes Japan is ten times worse that the American entertainment industry concerning the lives of celebrities.
