It does seem a little short notice to announce anything, which is also what a lot of people are using to guide them into thinking Omega is running longer than a year. Something about needing less time to just announce a show's extension versus a brand new show. Either way, Toei's is cutting it close...

Anywho! We got to see the new generals in this episode. I was a little underwhelmed and now I don't expect them to be sticking around for too long at all.

Well, according to the cast list for next week episode, they are at least getting voice actors.

My guess is that we'll get the most out of them when they finally do the proper flashback to the fight between them and the Saints 13 years ago.

Loved Romulus's design though.

During a magazine interview one of Omega's producer spoke about the series' future, saying that the story will momentarily shift focus to the original fight Mars' backstory and his original fight against Seiya and the Bronze Saints.

I guess Ikki and Shiryu would be voiced there. I wonder if their voice actors would be their new ones from the OVAs, like Katsuyuki Konishi for Ikki, who's already voicing Souma, and Takahiro Sakurai for Shiryu, or would they get brand new ones? Or maybe Hideyuki Hori, who voiced Ikki in the original anime?

The same goes for Shun and Hyoga. I wonder if their new voice actors who voice their present selves in this anime would voice their younger selves, or any of their previous ones, or brand new ones. Bringing back more original cast members, even if they're not from the original anime but from the later anime like the OVAs, would be nice!

Their entire backstory is that they are suppose to be as strong as the original five and yet they are being summoned by Pisces. They have JOBBER written all over. If they were legitimate threats one of them would have immediately killed Pisces just to show how threatening they were.

Their entire backstory is that they are suppose to be as strong as the original five and yet they are being summoned by Pisces. They have JOBBER written all over. If they were legitimate threats one of them would have immediately killed Pisces just to show how threatening they were.

I haven't seen the subs, but the raws seem to show that Athena did something to the 4 Kings years ago that caused them to be mindless like that and Pisces is just exploiting that.

Nevertheless, the cast list for ep44 came out and this time it does have voice actors for the 4 Kings.

Is this the same interview where they said that the child in ND might be Ryuho?

Yes is that interview, but I think what the producer said was that Shoryu was Kurumada's nod towards Omega, not the actual Ryuho.
