Is this anime going to be canon to the official timeline? If it is, then wouldn't this mean that Seiya has recovered from his wheelchair state? Then again, the original author doesn't seem to be involved with this anime so it might not be canon. But it still might be canon to the anime timeline, right?

And it's nice to see that Tohru Furuya will be coming back as Seiya! Looking forward to this anime!

Most likely it's canon to the anime. But bare in mind that this is a spinoff that sets after the anime storyline so if the original author decides to do an official sequel series and it gets adapted into an anime,this one will become non-canon. But for now, it's safe to say it's canon to the anime.

So I wonder if they're going to explain why Yuna doesn't have a mask on despite being a female Saint.

It doesn't need to be more than a throw-away line of "Oh, Saori got rid of that old practice" but it would be nice to have something that addressed it.

According to the translation of Yuna character description from an article on Newtype, she openly challenges the Sanctuary's law that female Saints must wear a mask.


Also, according to Newtype, Dragon Ryuho is Dragon Shiryu's son :anime:

The article translation says Shiryu. He looks enough like a younger Shiryu to me, specially the hair. A friend of mine says that Ryuho looks like Shunrei to him, and chances are she's the mother.
