[Anime] Saint Seiya Omega - Talk Up!

Saint Seiya replacing the Digimon series I've liked the least?

I know that is only temporary, but I can't stop smiling :anime:

I love Saint Seiya even more now

So I was right about you being a Saint Seiya fan then. From your username to that GIF of Gemini Saga as your Avatar, I figured you'd be a Saint Seiya fan.

The CGI movie is still on. Being directed by the same guy from Tiger & Bunny.

The original idea was to make it live action, but that didn't went over well with the fans, so they switched to CGI.

I'd only recognize CGI if it was done like Advent Children or like Tintin, but if it's almost to literal designs, I say go for live action. Sure it could look ridiculous in live action but look at it this way. Think Iron Man's suitcase armor crossed with the power of the Gods of Olympus through Zodiac. Libra Dohko= Yoda, Seiya=Luke Skywalker and the Pope=Darth Vader. Ironic that they could get the actor for Uncle Fester to play the pope as it would fulfill an internet meme. Just by watching the Abridged first episode, I can see heavy potential in this franchise as live action... as long as it's not whitewashed . But if it was partially , it actually wouldn't be a big a deal as Avatar. They use Western mythology ,have a princess named ATHENA and fight using mythological creatures and armor.

A small, but interesting, rumor about Saint Seiya Omega has surfaced: Furuya Toru, Seiya's original voice actor, is somehow involved with Omega.

Yeah I'm thinking he's gonna reprise his role as Seiya once more. The story's setting does set in a time where Seiya's a legendary Gold Saint so I wouldn't be surprised if Seiya made an appearance himself.

The episode 1 summary already mentions an appearance from Seiya saving Kouga.

Oh yes, FINALLY something new to watch from Saint Seiya! I was beginning to lose hope...

But I thought that each Pegasus Saint was supposed to be the one with a bond with Hades since mythical times? Or does that only apply to Tenma in Lost Canvas?

In the original manga and Next Dimension (the official prequel) it seems that both Seiya and Tenma being Pegasus Saints was nothing more than a coincidence.

In Lost Canvas, however, is not so much that every Pegasus Saint is bound to Hades, but the soul of the original one is every time it reincarnates.
