Saban && Gobusters -> VR TROPPERS???

We have a Power Rangers season that takes place in a post apocalyptic parallel universe. I think they can find a way to do Gobusters.

I feel they should do the reverse of Dino Thunder and RPM by making it a comedic parody, but if not, improve on the faults of its source.

But whatever.

Nick seems pretty happy with Power Rangers if they allow Saban to renew their contract until 2016. I'm hoping Saban found away to make sure they can handle their episodes better. I can understand taking breaks happens since a lot of shows do, but 20 episodes a season is getting annoying now.

I think Go-Busters has enough footage and toys for one year. They can give Go-Busters a PR show for 2015 then Kyoryuger will have a PR show with two seasons. Kyoryuger has too much story and characters for them to combine Go-Busters with Kyoryuger.

Also combing Go-Busters with Kyoryuger won't make any sense. They combine Gokaiger with Goseiger because Saban want to use the Gokaiger footage for Power Rangers anniversary.

Yeah, precisely what I was thinking. I mean, I don't it would be wise for Saban to combine both Go-Busters and Kyoryuger into one because the fans would hate it and there should be absolutely zero continuity between them. Plus, I am pretty sure that Saban will have no problems adapting Go-Busters since it's likely to be the most easier Sentai series to be made into a Power Rangers season because obviously nobody even likes Go-Busters. And of course Kyoryuger will be an even bigger challenge for Saban not since Power Rangers in Space and Power Rangers Time Force. Mainly because the stock footages in Kyoryuger requires them to have 10 rangers in the team and they're gonna have to distance the season from the whole samba-motif and try to focus more on the whole Dinosaur-part, particularly the Jurassic period.

If it can be done wisely like in other shows, even 6 episodes can be fulfilling if they have plot advancement with interesting and provocative ideas involved.

What they should do is make the seasons written so they are self contained and or feel like 50 episodes. Much of modern Sentai can be cut to 20 anyways and most seasons of the Avatar franchise have had more plot and character development than in the 50 that Power Rangers is typically offered. Filler episodes usually are a waste for the franchise and should be cut for the sake of the plot and production costs.

Covering twenty episodes per Sentai would be preferential to the current system just because of those reasons and for being easier to do. Take the best of the Sentai's first few episodes, learn how to establish the characters in a few episodes, and then cut to the finale episodes. The current way the shows are being shown, it will take two years to watch an entire series unless it is better done. The key point is quality , not quantity, and if they can manage a tightly knit story in 20, then I might want a two year basis with 40 or more episodes if it is better handled.

Also Gokaiger and Goseiger also have similar elements which can work when mixing the two together just like with Zyuranger and Dairanger. With Commandant Warz Gill and Brajira of the Messiah be brothers in the Power Rangers universe makes sense given that they both look similar from each other.

I think people are getting way too worry about them fusing Go-Busters with Kyoryuger which is likely not going to happen.

It happened in MMPR and VRT...it's not surprising.

If Saban really wanted to be cute...JAKQ and Liveman.

That's why I'm worried about it... I'm not saying that Saban is going to mix Gobus && Kyoryu, but the mix will be awful and nonsensical. I think about using Gobusters as VRT... is better than the mixing option. IMHO, a really great idea. The best case is the one in which we've got individual season (or seasons) for Gobus && Kyoryu.

I get that Gobusters teamed with Gavan...but I see Gobuster still being used as "Power Rangers" and Gavan Type G being used as a VR Trooper. Heck, using Gavan, Sharivan, and Shaider as VR Trooper makes more sense than using Gobusters. All that's missing the are "Mimi/Lily/Annie/Shelly" character...I mean in VRT, Katlin had to be 2-3 characters at once.

Let's see...

MMPR...combined Zyu, Dai, and Kaku...except Kung Fu was taken away and Ninjas became Fish...still bothers me to this day.

VRT...combined shows unrelated to each other; heck used a Space Sheriff...I give the show much credit that IMHO...the Darkheart Saga was almost as good as the "Green with Evil" Mini-Series.

Beetlborgs...correctly used Juuko and Kabuto together...then again, Janperson and Gun Gibson are good "monsters" from the Beetleborgs comics. I would've laugh if Kabutack and Robotack were added to the mix just to make Beetleborgs even more absurd as it is.

And now with Masked Rider...which is opposite to what Beetleborgs did. Man, f'cked up the Showa Era in one shot...except for Shin though they might as well have.:sly:

HOW DO YOU MESS UP AN ERA IN ONE GO!!! HOW?!!!:sly:

Then again...here's option 3...do two Power Rangers shows at once. If Saban is capable of doing...

Power Rangers and VR Troopers
Power Rangers and Masked Rider
Power Rangers and Beetleborgs

Then why not have a second team, Jeff Pruit perhaps, and do a second Power Rangers side story/spin-off.

PS: I WOULD'VE LIKE THE BULK AND SKULL SPIN-OFF...and if they wanted to be cute. Let them have at it crashing the Megazord.

Good point. But, times have changed so, I don't think that we'll be expecting another US adaptation of the Kamen Rider with the neo-Saban Power Rangers anytime soon.
