So... just saw an interview from Shimon Emiya at New York Toy Show 2016 last week, and according to Tamashii Nation's spokesman, the reason we haven't seen more DC Figuarts is because Tamashii has the license to another version of the characters that will be shown at San Diego Comic Con. An interesting interview over all...

Ant-man pre-orders open March 1st. It's a pretty bare bones figure.

Also Decade is out. I really regret not pre-ordering.

It's like a night and day difference between the first release and renewal

[Dr Kain]

I'll get Decade when Bluefin releases him.

I never realized how bad the old one looked.

Anyone knows what the difference between this new Ultraman and the Ultra-Act version? I know minor things like quality, which will probably be much better than Ultra-Act, but aside from that? I don't understand why they're re-releasing Ultraman under this line(aside from the fact that it's the 50th anniversary).

Toys “R†Us Japan has posted up photos and info for the Captain America: Civil War – SH Figuarts Special Box Set. The exclusive set contains both Captain America and an Iron Man Mark 46 figure. The set also contains a special edition Marvel Comics – Avengers: Operation Hydra #1. The set will come in a special fold out packaging design, which holds the standard packaging for Captain America and Iron Man, helps to commemorate both characters from the film.

The set will be priced at 11,499 Yen (about $101 USD).

Well, for starter, the Ultra-Act has the different concepts than that of S.H.Figuarts's. Ultra-Act was mainly focuses on articulation and body style, while S.H.Figuarts mainly focuses on articulation and show-accuracy.

In fact, the S.H.Figuarts Ultraman was more ressembling the Ultraman (or at least, the suit and the suit actor themself) from the original TV show than the Ultra-Act version. Even minor details like the asymmetry on the mask are recreated.

I guess I should hold out on an Ultra Seven Figuart then instead of trying to buy that Ultra Act that came out last year, right?
