[RUMOUR] Shinkenger May be Headed to America

[Forever Knight]

Bullshit.

[JFC]

For now we can still say-> ics:

Or better yet...

Until proof has been given in the form of an Official statement by a TV production company (which in this case would likely be Disney since they should still be the ones holding the rights to the PR franchise here) stating that that they will, in fact, be producing a N.American adaptation of Shinkenger, this remains a rumour.

[Mr. Underachiever]

I don't think Disney is adapting Shinkenger (and if they are, they won't be making any official announcement of it), but I can believe that Bandai will be making Shinkenger toys in 2011, especially since MMPRV2 season 2 will just be the second half of season 1, so there probably won't be much to make toys out of with that.

[echobanzai]

gotta wait 4 now.

[FreedomR8G6B1]

Why doesn't Disney make a Decade/Goseiger Super Hero Time instead? Those shows were made for each other.:redface2:

Cam is the "first" Samurai Ranger
Masked Rider teamed with MMPR
Charlie is the first Female Red

...Shinken was "officially" the first samurai sentai...then it turned into the sentai that was "too little too late".:sly:

...all they need now is a Samurai Pizza Cats Rescue Team type group with "Richard Brown" leading the group...and the Red Ranger inheriting "Uramasa" to create a brand spanking new Battlizer..."TAO JIN!!!"

*smacks forehead*

...good grief. Besides...why would Disney be doing something "samurai" considering they hate sharp, pointy things? Are they planning on doing a Seven Samurai animated feature...using dwarves?

[Storm Eagle]

lets just hope so.

I'd have hope if you mentioned some substantial evidence to prove it.

[Arkvoodle]

And money may fall from the skies.

I'd enjoy both events but I don't expect either one to happen in the least.

[HenshinRebel]

PR's cancelled for now. Sorry.

[Wheatley]

The chances of Shinkenger coming to America is less than 1%.

[DSP]

There is always a chance it could I mean, power rangers is a franchise that is always guranteed to get some good sales, who knows after MMPR v2 we may get an adaption of shinkenger or goseiger.

But as for this rumour's validity I call bullcrap, this is simply something the thread starter overheard and with it being said at a toyfair where this stuff is announced, I doubt there's any truth behind it as then it would be announced offcially there and then.
