This weekend I'm studying because I have the JLPT on Sunday.

Although, I've been actually out of touch with the language for a bit, but when I'm doing the drills I'm actually surprised by how much of it I remember to read. I guess even if I don't use it as much, it doesn't disappear completely. That's a good sign.

So.....I've had a pretty crappy week XD
At least KRDK is gonna be tommorow, so thats something to look forward to.

I had my first full week at my job, which didn't go too badly, so except for the whole "sick" part, it was an ok week.

JLPT? Japanese Language Placement Test?

Close.

Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

It wouldn't be placement since this is the test given out by the Japanese Embassy whose results you use to GET A JOB with. XD

XD It's always been my goal, but without having the JLPT on my resume, it'd be hard to get hired since no one would know my ability.

Reading and listening is usually higher for me though just because it's easier to take things in. When I have to do output, it's usually a little lower because I can't think of all the words I want to use on the spot. But with like writing and speaking, I should probably do okay because I can sufficiently express myself a decent amount without having to look things up, but it's just sometimes you want to use like words that are more specific that fit more that maybe you don't know. So then overall I think I should do pretty okay?

I dunno, I don't hate my job or anything, but it just isn't what I want to do for the rest of my life. I really want to translate because I think by doing translations I'll be doing something better in the world that's more helpful.

Interesting. I have a large assortment of stuffed animals in my apartment too. A ridiculous amount. Most are cats, koalas, or penguins. XD Some bunnies too, but that makes the majority of the animals.

@Ryuuta: And where would you get the Japanese dub? :anime:

I want to support my boy #1 doing the main character.

nerefir's uploading the episodes on usotsuki http://www.usotsuki.info:6969/

Good luck with your test!

When is the test, anyway? Good luck on it! I'm sure you'll do wonderfully.

It's on Sunday.

I really should have been studying more, but I get so tired after work I just couldn't.

If it wasn't for my boy #1 opening up a website and starting a band and actually posting blog/diary entries, I probably wouldn't have looked at any Japanese text at all. But then thanks to all that, I got in at least some Japanese practice at least once a week. Something's better than nothing and I learned some words too. XD I hope my grammar's okay. I dunno, it helps that I was dorky and tried writing to him a few times too, but even if it was dorky, it was practice for me to try to express myself. After doing it a few times it made me feel a bit more confident in my abilities though because even if there was a few mistakes here and there when I look back at what I wrote, I feel like I was actually able to express my thoughts even if the ideas were somewhat complicated. =3
