Resident Precureologist
As some of you might know, I'm putting my writing talents to work making a superhero and henshin hero game series for tabletop play. I'm almost done with the Superhero game(gotta input at least seven module storylines and get art) and I've hammered the whole essence of the multiverse for the henshin hero game out. Now I just need to figure out a method of combat.

So please answer these questions:
1) How does defeating an enemy in a henshin hero story allow you to upgrade your armor?
2) Should new upgrades come when all hope is lost, or when the player needs a boost right that instant to overcome a foe who matches his power levels?
3) Considering a one hour time limit on the armor, should the weapons become more or less powerful as time runs out?

Hm... you know that's interesting, I was thinking of a Sentai concept where their suit only has limited power supply and thus can run out after a certain ammount of time. I think the power level should remain stable except for the last minutes or so, and that it should be possible to 'invest' more power at a certain time to sacrifice henshin-time for the sake of more power.

As for your other questions...hm... well... for the first 1 maybe the hero and villains could work off the same power source and defeating a villain let you take that power for your own? Sorta like how the monstersi n Ryukendo were made out of Madan Keys and the Mandan Warriors would gain them after defeating them ya know?

For the second I think it should come at a moment of desperation when there is no other way.

1) This is a hard question to answer, since most riders are technology based it could be said that their full strength is locked (or diminished ) as they where first equipped or first activated and as such they only have access to a limited amount of their skills as they start out and only through experience do they learn to better use his own powers or unlock more potential.

Or like it was said before me, it is possible that a small amount of the defeated enemy's energy be transfered to the rider.

2) Well it could be both, an auto activated skill that turns on when a player's hp reaches a set number or a timed skill that he can activate at will.

3) Well that depends, if it activates due to low health then his weapons should also have a boost to increase survivability, since its like a last resort, but if its a skill he can use at will then the weapons should decrease when has it activated (as sort of transferring energy from the offense to defense)

Those are my thoughts anyway.
