BTW - (you guys probably already know this) There is going to be a new animated version of Power Rangers. Friend of mine is doing the sound efx on the 2 minute promo and said it looks amazing. Hopefully I'll hear from somebody on that project.

This is both an intriguing and worrying concept, the first, is...yay, new alternative for fans, new series that provides a faster effective means of production, and a broader expansion of the franchise.

...But on the other side, the speculation now lies with whenever or not the live-action series is being either phased out, or it's decreased episodes and budgets actually justified due to splitting time on two projects with the money.

Either way, we may have been provided the single biggest news to affect PR's future long term. Commence teh fangasm.

i've been hearing stories about a PR animated series since I think 2002, it's going to be intresting to see what happends with these series once they get on TV.

Hmmmmmmmmmm not sure about this...are they gonna go the Teen Titan anime route with this? Or have it purely made in Japan's Anime format? Or we talkin Western animation?

Cause that's something to think/or worry about too.

Also could they be taking past sentai and just making the animated version of it? Instead of something original.

They can do sort of a Phantom year of a series, say use the designs from Dairanger and make a series from that.

It could be kinda cool... if it's quality, think of Power Rangers given the Justice League treatment and actually utilizing the PR Universe without having to worry about actors getting too old or finding old props.
