You know, there really needs to be a parody anime of all this (Taros not allowed...except in -tan form). Hell, there needs to be a full-on Heisei Rider parody a la SD Riders except all the Riders would be "-tan's" and go through schoolgirl stuff and all that.

Meh, I prefer for Toku not to mix with anime. The only exception being Imagin Anime.

Stuff like this only deepens the stereotype that Asian = anime. =/ At least, if a lot of people I knew saw it. They wouldn't ask about what it was referencing, they'd ask if this was part of an anime series.

I agree. The artist really must be hired to make these characters go to TV. In all seriousness, I love doujins (Hentai not allowed) especially that gives you the opportunity to make your own story for these characters.
Just like Battle Moon Wars, all of Type Moon characters were congested in that one great game with a Super Robot Wars game engine. I found doujins great.

- Been there too many times for it to be comfortable. Especially when they ask "Is it from an Hentai Anime" when the girl art looks really pretty (Cases in point: Love Hina, Jinki:Extend, Tokimeki Memorial Only Love)...

...then again, I rage every time someone asks the following two questions:
1.) What's the best Gundam series out there? :sparta!::sparta!: (actually, anyone stupid enough to ask this in public deserves whatever violence he gets)
2.) Is (Insert Anime/Manga/Game Name Here) as good as Naruto? :sick:

I'd personally like these characters to remain part of fandom, not mainstreamed. That said, a decent fan-made release of these characters might be worth a look (so long as it's NOT Hentai). Then again, I only like Kazuu's style and characters in particular, so that's a very small niche of a niche.

BTW: If you guys like Kazuu's artwork, suggest you start copying and saving now, because he's on geocities. I mailed him sometime back (Babelfish helps the Moon Language to English conversation), and he isn't sure if he'll move the site elsewhere or stop entirely at the moment.

A main male character who enrolls in a new high school, unaware that a number of girls in this school are actually the mysterious Kamen Rider-Tans.

Kabuto-Tan as the school's idol (perfect at everything), Blade-Tan as the incredibly nice classmate, Faiz-Tan the out-of-school part-timer at the canteen, Den-O-Tan being the schizoid bancho-type, Hibiki-Tan as the loli-looking but actually mature Teacher...

...bugger making an anime. They should make a Kamen Rider-Tan Dating Sim. With Action RPG elements.:rofl:

- Have you ever walked into a crowd of Mecha fans and asked that? That's like walking into a multicultural religious studies convention and asking out loud which is the real God...and the religious people would be far more civil about it. I've had old friends of mine (UC Gundam fans) verbally eviscerate me for mentioning Wing in their presence (back when Wing was new). They've mellowed out now, because they finally accept I'm one of those strange weirdoes who likes pretty much any Gundam series...except G. I'm kind of avoiding the DBZ-Gundam feel of it, even if it is entertaining.
