Rewatching Kamen Rider Faiz

The reoccurring line I hated was: "No, it's nothing" when a character especially Takumi is asked what is wrong. I understand that it is Takumi's character to be alone and bottling things within, but seriously- it annoyed me. I sat there thinking: "SAY THE DAMN THING!!!!!"

Yuka Osada.........I loved her! Why did she have to die like that??!!:bawling:

Her debut was very touching and when she went AWOL on her sister and her team, I yelled out: "YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!"

The ending was crap indeed. I didn't even get what actually happened after that rushed fight against the Orphnoch King. As for Kusaka, HE DESERVED HIS FATE. :musashowned:

On the second viewing I noticed that the Faiz Driver came with an instruction manual.

Yeah look in the first few episodes, you can see them brushing it aside to grab the phone and belt.

haven't really noticed there was a manual after watching it twice, all i can remember was those signs in the metal case showing how to use the driver itself

Oh yeah, nerefir, your avatar alone has reminded me of something. I wonder why the Smart Lady was in the series. She (like Narutaki and Kivara in Decade) hardly did anything. She had butterflies with her, and is presumably an Orphnoch- so, I don't know...........couldn't she have been the Butterfly Orphnoch and have done something?

About Faiz having an instruction manual.............surely it would have told Mari that ONLY ORPHNOCHS CAN ACTUALLY USE FAIZ!!!!!! Surely Kaixa came with one too! Even in small print it could have said:

"WARNING! Usage of this rider system can systematically burn up Orphnoch DNA in the body, resulting in unrecoverable injury, and death may be possible."

I wonder why no one sat down to read the manuals. It could have helped them.

It's a post-2002 Toshiki Inoue series. Common sense doesn't apply there.

I always thought that Smart Lady had a bigger purpose that they forgot about as time went on and they got all Kaixa-emo.

She could have, but it would have required Inoue to focus on something potentially relevant to the show he's actually working on instead of the pretentious art-film in his head that he wishes he was doing.

I think she really is kind of a wasted character idea. There really should have been something more to her. It might have helped if they had allowed Yuji to just be an antagonist with Smart Lady as a constant presence so you're following his journey of being inducted to the ranks of Smart Brain and becoming a villain just as you would also following Takumi going from the guy who doesn't want to be bothered with this whole thing to a hero and someone who find his own dream.

I do mean *his own* dream rather than just taking up Keitaro's clean laundry=happyness thing.
