Resident Evil: Degeneration CGI RE Movie

wow looks like a damn PS2 FMV for a Resident Evil game. Capcom, just because you think the FMVs look great for games doesnt mean they are movie theater quality. It looked great until Claire popped up and I was like "wow, lol."

I'll probably rent it. It might be good but knowing Japanese story telling... yeah. And capcom with their fucking no-never-gonna-do-a-conclusion-gonna-keep-tagging-onto-the-story-with-no-resolve
BS..

But maybe it will be good.

It's got to be better then the very bland and decidedly Not very RE-esque live action films.

At least I hope it is. I'll probably end up getting ahold of it, if it is.

I loved the RE action films. Havent seen the third yet. Im sure it will be different (the japanese CG movie) and more in line with the story of the games and more familiar for the gamers. But I have doubts Capcom can write a proper movie-esque story line. At least RE movies have a nice contained story line. I was disappointed with RE4 in terms of story telling simply because you have a reunion between Ada and Leon and they acted like nothing happened. Leon was just sorta like "oh hey. whats up?"

After the way RE2 ended I expected more from the characters and more from the dialog. I feel like this movie may be the same way. they will touch on story concepts, flash back to stuff you've already seen from the games, and really not conclude anything or resolve any of the points or issues brought up. In fact, I bet a dollar you'll see more issues, mysteries, and puzzles brought up in the movie that leave you deeper and deeper in conclusion-debt

I loathe the live action movies because they're NOT RE movies to me. They're little more then vehicles decided to show off Milia's strengths (such as they are).

I'm hoping we get some faithful and good RE movies at some point or an animated series.
