Recommendations for Anyone Looking to Get Into Slice of Life Anime

I've been curious about slice of life anime but have limited experience with the genre. I'm not sure where to start since I've mainly watched action and fantasy shows. Can anyone recommend some great slice of life series that highlight relatable characters and engaging everyday situations? Thanks!

If you're getting into slice of life, I'd highly recommend "March Comes in Like a Lion." It beautifully explores deep themes like loneliness and connection through the eyes of a young professional shogi player. The characters feel so relatable, and the way it captures everyday moments is really special.

Another one that really clicked for me was "Barakamon," which follows a calligrapher who moves to a rural village. The interactions he has with the quirky locals are hilarious and heartwarming at the same time.
