Recommendations for Slice-of-Life Anime with Strong Character Development

I've recently become really interested in slice-of-life anime, especially after enjoying shows like "March Comes in Like a Lion" and "Barakamon." I'm looking for recommendations that feature strong character development and meaningful relationships. What are some titles that really excel in these areas?

"March Comes in Like a Lion" really nailed the emotional depth with its focus on mental health and relationships. I found "Barakamon" less impactful, though; while the character interactions were charming, some of the humor felt a bit forced for me. Still, it's hard not to appreciate how slice-of-life can highlight the small yet significant moments in life.
