...I think what killed it, they tried to make him like Billy. Not to mention give him superhuman strength in one episode. He was not Kou or Riki, heck, he wasn't much of a Beetleborg character either...

You know, I understand what they were doing and finally putting the target demographic itself in the show, but... they'd gone too long with the correct formula of the "cool big brothers and bigs sisters" and it worked. Adding Justin severely janked it up and just caused one of the most hated PR characters in history.

I never really hated Justin, however I did find him a little boring and uninteresting. Dunno why, I just think he never grabbed my attention (which may be why I thought Big Bad Beetlkeborgs was lame).

Which takes me back to the days when RangerGallery was RangerBase. Everybody was like bashing on Justin all the time, laughing at this "Gay Shirtless Justin" image. Everybody got the impression that Justin was actually gay, and by now I think it's been confirmed that he's not gay after all. :laugh:

I think I'll give him a 2.
