Question - Kamen Rider Blade: Buckles & Rouzers

I couldn't find an answer, whats the function of the AB [A OFF B] power switch?

type a and b are different types of point counters IIRC.

Mode A is essentially a Sound Test mode, allowing unlimited card scans. Mode B starts with a set number of AP, which each card has an AP count that deducts from the AP of the Rouser. It's essentially the show accurate mode.

Not related, but--do the rousers play only sounds specific to the character/card suit (i.e. you can't use Chalice/Hajime's cards on the Blayrouser?)

Blay Rouser can read all cards but the other rousers can only read their own suits.

The Blay Rouzer can read all of them? Huh, makes me wish I had gotten it instead of the Garren Rouzer.

That's good news. After all, Blade's the only character in the series to use cards from the others (Four Cards). Would be disappointed if you couldn;'t do that with the toy.

Though I think Leangle used Chalice's Float in the movie. Not sure if he used any other cards in the series.

You can also see on the card itself which rousers it works with. For example, take a look at the top right corner of the text box on Garren's card:

Shows a red diamond and a blue spade. As opposed to one of Blade's cards..:

Only a blue spade. Leangle and Chalice have their suits plus a blue spade. Blade King form gold cards..

Have a K and only work with the King Rouser (which can also read all cards).

Although it can read non-gold cards, it'll only say the name of the suit instead of the individual card. i.e. 6 of Hearts will say "Heart Card". Gold 6 of Spades will say "Spade 6".

Of course it knows what the card is, so you can do all the poker combos. :buttrock:
