- If Wataru helped Otoya defeated the 1st Dark Kiva, how was Taiga's father defeated before Wataru was born? I know Otoya couldn't have done it alone.
Wouldn't that make a odd time loop without a continuum?

It was sort all plot out in destiny. Otoya never defeated the first King alone and was thanks to Wataru teaming up with him.
