PSP Go! is a reality (Not kidding)

I wake up this morning to find some really incredible news: the "mole" was right and the PSP Go! really does exist. With this confirmed, it looks like that slimmer PS3 is inching closer to a reality as well. It was also leaked by the same mole.

I'll probably end up buying this...it's a brick to be honest IMHO but still I love how it slides up, and the gamepad is underneath, pretty neat by sony, I'm impressed :castlerock: and new Metal Gear Solid game aswell, it's gonna rock hardcore :buttrock:

I was looking at at Qore on the PS3 about this and they said that the PSP-3000 models will still be in production. The PSP Go! isn't planned to replace the current PSP.

Apparently the PSP Go doesn't use a UMD Drive hence explaining why the PSP-3000 is still in sale. It uses downloading media for its 16 GB memory stick. Meh. I'm sticking with my PSP.

Well the lack of UMD can assure us of at least a longer battery life as well as maybe they're just getting with the times. Let's be honest, do you know anyone that still buys UMD movies and games for their PSP? :laugh:

It was fun reading about this with the GAFtards yesterday. I'm going to try to find those pictures of the two boxarts because they're almost identical (in style) which more or less totally confirms the ps3 slim (as if the letters from the lawyers saying to take the pics down to certain sites wasn't enough).
