I've read a lot of the comments in that Reddit post and, I'm glad to say that I am no longer the sad panda I was when I posted that first link about ACTA.

Basically, this treaty enforces copyright law globally, and bans the importing of certain goods across countries. What the import ban most likely means is that if you are in America, you will not be able to buy Japanese exclusive video games, such as Mother 3.

This country, this world...is so messed up. I can't wait for something terrible to happen to it. LOL.

I certainly can't wait for the day where everyone that's currently inside the Government, House of Representatives, Senate, the Supreme Court, & Congress will be all replaced by more smarter people from our generations. Say like, starting from people who were born in the mid 70's (I was born in 1982).

I think that they would know what to do with all of this nonsense that's currently going on.

And we just need to hold off long enough to get newer people in a position of voting these things. Since they will be far closer to our generation, or even our generation, they will vote off all this stupid ****.

Ah-huh. Would importing Figuarts, Kamen Rider Toys and Super Sentai toys fall under this category?

Because I'm still trying to pay off Oki for some figuarts and I don't want them to get returned to him just because of this.

Why was it that in the past the world was pushing all this globalization stuff, but what I see here is de-globalization?
I guess the globalization part is where the UN can get everyone together to sign the stupid thing. But that's a little counter-intuitive because the UN is getting everyone "together" (globalized agreement) to sign a law that "de-globalizes" everything... hhmmm... I think I lost my train of thought... Maybe I am reading too far into this...
