I saw that too! It's such a mixed bag with Maher. While I get that he likes to push boundaries with humor, making a joke like that about Dolly during a tribute feels pretty tone-deaf. Dolly's legacy is so rich and multi-faceted; a simple, heartfelt acknowledgment would have done her much more justice.

What do you think would have been a better way to honor her? There are so many incredible stories and achievements to highlight beyond her appearance. It really could have been a celebration of her artistry and impact instead.
