Power Rangers Samurai - Episode 3/5 'Day Off'

Saban is not looking to impress you. Or anyone here.

You can't say they should do it differently when Shinkenger has alot of great values for kids. The fact here is nobody that is 3 year olds to 10 year olds don't know what Shinkenger or Sentai is.

So, what is there to change? Nobody even knows what Sentai is in America besides Toku fans on the Internet.

This whole series was put together on the fly anyhow. You can't expect them to come up with creative **** when they started the production late and then had to re-cast.

You're acting like Saban never did this before. They turned the ancient warriors from Zyurangers into high schoolers. They know how to make it different there just not putting in the effort. If they want to make it the same as Shinkengers that's fine but there wouldn't be anything wrong with making some scene's a little different. You gotta balance it. Though truth be told I'm torn on this.

At least Bulk and Skull interacted with the Rangers. Here, it feels like Bulk and Spike are off in their own separate world from the others.

I thought this episode was alright, nothing spectacular but wasn't terrible.
Only thing I truly hated was Spike, he's really getting on my nerves now :redface2: but Bulk is still awesome.
So far the only really interesting characters are the main villains, Bulk and Mike.
Maybe that's just me, but everyone else seems really boring so far.

Oh well, it's only episode 3, usually power rangers doesn't get really good until ep 10.

I like the way Saban changed how the Kabuto (Beetle in PR Samurai) comes out from the Disk because in the Shinkenger you have to had the disk spined in the sword while in episode 3 of Samurai Jaden tossed the disk and used his fire power from the sword to make it appare

It's not like MMPR when they just pop up and Bulk does something silly and Skull laughs annoyingly. I dunno.

Except you know, in MMPR, that whole relevant thing I was talking about? yeah. They were interacting with the main cast and had a purpose.

This really was better than the first two. Those made me wonder if I might stop watching PR for good.

Hmm... pretty much solid, definitely better than last week's episode.

I actually like Jayden. Finally got more line than three lines last week.

One thing that pissed me off.... the bullets into the lasers bullshit. C'mon, Saban. Power Rangers is not under by Disney anymore. Think about it.

So, a solid episode... 3 out of 5.
