In any case the point isn't that I want the Red RPM ranger to be a Sousuke clone, I just want him to share the guts, courage and 'never say die' attitude he has (him and plenty other Reds).
I'm just saying it would be for the best if we had a hopeful and optimistic hero who would NEVER EVER EVER EVER break down in hopelessness. Not even for one episode or one moment (though you might trick the viewer into thinking he did). A real Determinator.
You can use Kamina as an exemple if you prefer.
