He DID have a point, though. Go-onger isn't the most serious of Sentai, so trying to make it super super dark does seem a little off. And we saw how badly trying to make a dark Sentai a serious PR worked with the first half of Turbo. PLUS there's supposed to be a dramatic tone shift halfway through (like the second half of Turbo)? It DOES sound a little off. :eyebrow:

Anyway, what's so special about SERIOUS PR? You know, I've learned over the three years I've been here not to take you too seriously, but please, tell me why you want PR to be so super duper "Dark Knight"-esque serious? PR is NOT Batman, it is NOT a prime time drama, and it never will be. I don't understand why you don't get that.

Also, I know you liked Ninja Storm and Kamen Rider Den-O, which were both lighthearted, so what's up with that?

That's actually a good point. Go-onger does have all those themes of environmentalism and the like, so it could be a good way to teach kids about protecting the Earth (though hopefully, not to preachy like Wild Force was).

The average Joe would say DT, SPD, NF wasn't lighthearted but it never had a dark tone and when it did...It bombed.
