Power Rangers RPM

Yes but if it is the Venjix from Forever Red wouldnt that be a huge ratings booster? I think old fan that stoped watching PR during the Kalish era would tune in just to watch a continuation of Forever Red!

Only if they hear about it. Mostly people who might possibly begin watching PR again for a reason like that would never be in a position to get that information. Let's face it, those of us who are adults on here are watching a kid's show. We still like it, and might even talk to our friends about it. But getting other adults to watch it because it *might* be a return of a villain from one episode of a season that many of the original fans were too old to have watched?

I agree that many fans who didn't see one other episode of Wild Force watched Forever Red. But still.

Hello--

Sorry to have skipped over this and the other timeline questions in the thread but I was trying to figure out how to answer it properly and hopefully with out disappointing you or any other fans that are concerned about this issue.

It's not that I didn't care about the Power Rangers timeline, but I promised myself when I started to work on the show that, at the end of the day, I wanted to make a season of PR where the story and characters took priority over everything--and I mean everything--else.

With a show like Power Rangers, I think it can be very easy to get lost in the spectacle of the zords, or the deisre to sell toys, or the need to use footage, or to showcase the action set pieces, and forget that all of those things should really only exist to develop the characters and serve the story. If not, the show is lost.

This man gets it. I dont know if his work is any good but dammit, the man has a fantastic attitude and wonderful writing/working principles.

Based on the peeks into RPM that I've seen so far, I'm really looking forward to at least the first half of the season. Who knows what'll happen during the second half, but I'm pretty sure we can trust Chip to give us something worth watching.

okay...I know I just posted from him...but this is TOO funny to NOT be reposted.

I laughed do hard when I read this. Seriously, there is little difference between this and most fans' responses to Go-onger.

I'm sorry, but this post by Eddie was HI, LARRY US!

Thanks for the link. I've been seeing answers but didn't know where the site was. Thanks.

Eddie sounds like a guy who respects Power Rangers. I think the show's going to be great. (not bashing Bruce, but he may've only saw it as a kid's show, a good one, but only as a kid's show).

He gets the toy part but not the continuity part! A show that has 17 seasons of history should rely on its history and back story a little bit and make sure not to screw up continuity!

My guess is that while it is the same Venjix, they're not going to address it. He was probably planning to have it come out later as the plot unravels but since he was axed he never got that far. Since he has no idea what Judd is going to do he can't really say, "It's the same character." because if he wanted to he could make it so he isn't. Even though I doubt he would. If it was some random person I might be worried but it's Judd Lynn.

Judd had no involvement with Forever Red. So maybe he will not include in his vision of RPM Venjix being the same villain!:disappoin

Just because he had no involvement with it doesn't mean he's like Bruce who disreguards the importance of anything else in the show that he hasn't worked on.
