Man, we go down for 2 days and no on puts up a discussion? Cmon! Anywho, you can watch the episodes in the form of Youtube video embeds in the topic post.

:D Good episodes, imo. But certainly don't have that same Eddie feeling. I'm really loving Kilobyte's voice. A shame everything is just winding down. Hard to believe we are at the final two episodes already.

Also, MMPR returns next season with an all new intro and restored footage. Check the link at the very top for more

Control Alt Delete was pretty lame if you ask me. Too much stuff happening too fast and a total lack of dramatic tension (AGAIN!). Especially that whole debacle with Scott.

OH NOES! Scott is between us and Shifter! We can't attack!

-.- yeah right...

I could think of six different plans they could have used, the least of which would be Flynn going into Clock Up mode and getting the remote away from Shifter!

BTW, Shifter and Scott had a great fight and all but I didn't really feel anything from the defeat of the guy. They really did a poor job at making us feel like it was a big victory for them... then they go on and show the Rangers getting trash by some nobody attack bot? Sheesh Scott you just beat a major general and you can beat that guy?! I really REALLY HATE how the Rangers waste too much time fighting hand to hand before they use their weapons. Wastes a lot of time on boring sequences. At least there wasn't too much Grinder dull fights this time around. Still one thing I don't like from this season is that when you watch the fights you don't get a sense of momentum to them, you can't tell when one side is winning or not, you can't tell when the Rangers pull it together and start overwhelming the bad guy, all leading up to the climatic use of the big weapon... not in RPM. You just get tedious fights with boring music that cut straight to the big blaster and then 10 second Zord fights.

I saw Dillon's oh so dramatic dilema coming a mile away, wasn't too badly executed though, gotta give them that. Tenaya's upgrade is pretty spiffy looking, though I miss the visor.

Also Ziggy wanting to mind control ladies? That was just in bad taste and just makes Ziggy annoying instead of funny.

In the end this episode should have been done in two parts instead of one. There was so many things packed in there I actually thought it was.

Now 'Run, Ziggy Run' was actually entertaining ^_^ It was fun! Fresno Bob is a bit stupid though... its not good for your buisness if you take out one of the Rangers who is PROTECTING THE CITY FROM DESTRUCTION. Plus I have to wander what he expect his goon to be able to do what Venjix robots usually can't...

I'm betting what Venjix got was those energy spheres that Yogoshimakuritain ate to power his Dissolution of Justice attack that made most of the Go-ongers and Engines dissapear!

Doctor K let Ziggy's name slip! that was nice!

They did a much better job giving a sense that Kylobite was a dangerous enemy, though his formal introduction to the ranger REALLY lacked any sort of panache. Especially for him. He should have at-least introduced himself. I also don't like how they cut the part from Go-onger where Sosuke attacks Kireizuky with the Mantan gun and KanKan Bar in twin sword style. that bit was cool damnit!

In the end an uneven saturday.

LOL! Exactly. Funny how that character is so ignored they couldnt even think of using his power. Damn

I agree, man. They set up Shifter as a buffoon for most of the series. He had a couple good fights but he was never a serious threat. Then they suddenly try to make him this bad ass. This was the writers trying to do something bad ass but failing to set it up.

The helmet flying off was a bit random too. I just couldnt help but find it anticlimactic that they went from defeating a major general to getting pounded on by a dumbbell bot.

The helmet drop was much cooler in Go-onger because it actually looked like Yogostein had hit!

Though Scott really pulled off that badass pose at the end real well, kudos to the actor.

Yeah CAD was INCREDIBLY disappointing to say the least.

By far one of the worst episodes of the season. Shame to because it had so much potential. It just seems like their was no script, the writing team just got into a room and was like "Okay what if we do this here, then we'll jump here and switch to this scene and do this here and then go here and do this and then back over here. It was all very haphazard and rushed. If they had only had more time to play out those storylines, it would have been so much better.

But also thats no excuse for ignoring your own continuity....SEVERAL TIMES. It's been made pretty explicit that the morphers need to have the phrase stated for activation, yet Dillion morphs without it, as done Flynn. And obviously Scott did. Which raises the question of why Scott would even morph if only his body is being controlled by Shifter.

And the fight with Shifter was also just incredibly rushed. It was a bad way to go. Dillon's fight with Tenaya 15 was a little better, but it doesnt make up for the abyssmal rest of the episode. 2/5...

Now R,Z,R is a much better episode. Several great scenes which have already been mentioned. Again with the nonvoice activated morpher. Also did they use the same shot of Ziggy transforming as in the previous episode?

Anyone catch Gemma's little shoutout to previous fandom?

Dillon has ALWAYS been able to morph without yelling the phrase, all the way back to episode four. I agree about the rest of the rangers, though.

But, yeah, "Control-Alt-Delete" was TERRIBLE. It was like it was all over the place. Scott being controlled by Shifter, which was set up last week, is completely resolved in the first act. And it's horribly anticlimactic. "Ooh, Scott's in the way of our shot, ONOZ!"

Then we get a boring, completely rushed fight where Scott kills Shifter, ripped directly from Go-Onger without any of the meaning or cool **** about it (gasp, did I just say something in Go-Onger was COOL?! :O_O:)

And Flynn being the one to pilot the Ultrazord would have been cooler if it weren't just, "Oh, I don't think I have enough power for it." Lame.

And the second half feels like an entirely different episode from the first, it was just so disjointed and awkward, even moreso than "Three's a Crowd."

I will say, though, that "Run Ziggy Run" was a FANTASTIC episode, even if it should've come earlier in the season.

You gotta admit though that those voice-less morphs were pretty cool :p just didn't really work with continuity well.

What nod you talking about Kenori??

Another part I forgot to mention they shouldn't have cut is that awesome shot of Sousuke deflecting those massive blasts with his sword. That was COOL and really made us realize how pissed off Sousuke was and how dangerous Yogostein could be yet could not stand up to the hot blooded Ranger.

Who wrote Control-Alt-Delete anyway? I forgot to check.
