It's Judgement Time!
Seeing Motoombo there in the shop made me think of the movie Labyrinth. Where all the friends are there with Sarah at the end. I half expected Vida to start jamming "Dance Magic Dance" with Motoombo.
I voted 6. This is one of the weakest finales in a long time. It's not THE weakest, no. But it's one of them. This was just a passing breeze and didnt do anything for me.
Though the entire scene with Koragg vs Leanbow was bad, fucking, ass. It was heart pounding, the action was amazing and so was the music.
The Master was a joke (just like N.ma was in Magi). He went down too easily, I wanted a real battle between him and the rangers.
There were good moments in this finale but as a finale it was pretty lame. Rita Repulsa returning as Mystic Mother was beautiful. Freaking amazing. So what if it was poor dubbed, the reference was amazing! It was just.. mind boggling that they would do that and I loved it.
It cant always be perfect, we should appreciate it for what it tried to do for us.
Again, I need to stress this. The music in this finale was some of the best I've heard in Power Rangers. Especially during the dramatic fight between Leanbow and Nick. It was amazing and it set the mood.
However I was dissapointed that all we got was a straight adaption. I wanted more "oomph" from this finale. More explosions, more grunts storming the city streets, more of a grand plot scheme coming together. Something more dire for the rangers to fight against.
The finale just felt like another "Dark Wish" or "Gate Keeper". It didn't have that grand feel to it that it was more important than the other battles, other than the master was revived. Im sorry the Master really did nothing for me. He was a joke. Everything he did was just countered by the rangers and he failed miserably. He didnt feel like the same force that had everyone bowing down.
Mystic Force, as an entire season, is an 8 in my opinion. It was a good series and there were a lot of great moments during it. It just wasn't on the top of my favorite seasons list.
I still believe the writing has improved since SPD and there's still room for more improvement but I think at this point it's a matter of being more creative with the footage provided. Make the footage work for YOUR story. Dont let the footage dictate what you write.
That's naive to say, I know. I understand sometimes it's unavoidable to write around the footage but some of the footage is so open ended, taking place in a forest or a city, that you could write anything around that and it would work.
I thought the N.ma footage was god awful and hoped PR would do something better. But they didnt. We got the same thing. I just seriously hope that next year, for PR:OO we get something truly special.

k, at the end, Nick leaves Briarwood with Udonna and Leanbow on motorcycles, Nick gives Madison his blanket, the master is destroyed by the combined power of all the people in Briarwood plus the rangers, Clare gets her powers, and magic mother is Rita. Rita prob got tired of being evil and decided to be good. And Nick and Madison did not get together.
Necrolai became good after her dark powers were destroyed, she is dating the owner of the shop, Leelee and the troll guy are now together (eww), Xander is manager of the shop, Vida dyed her hair pink, and that's all.

Sidenote: Geoff Dolan (Sic?) provided the voice of Omni before turning around and voicing Koragg this year. I'm wondering if they'll re-use the actor who voiced the Master in the PR equivalent of Sensei Makino. He's already played a similiar role back in Ninja Storm.

I think you mean Mystic Force 2 parters. Mystic Fate was just an episode name. and its NO MORE TRANSLATION not translate. Type in english and proofread, next time.

Well, it was no surprise Rita was gonna come back. Bruce mentioned when he initially took over he was gonna have someone from the past in there.
