[The 2nd Evil]

Yes, I am aware that the season hasn't even begun yet, and thus, slightly early so one of these "If I were in charge of MF" stories.

Regardless, I'm doing it anyway. Based on the promos, I think MF looks amazing, and I've always loved mythical themed tv shows, so I wanted to try my hand at it.

I aim to do the full 32 episodes that MF has. However, I'm balacing this between work and school, so episodes will be released whenever I can get them out.

Also, I suck at prose, and I hope to one day become a TV show writer, so I am writting these in script format on my Movie Magic Screenwriter. I sincerely hope this doesn't turn anyone off who may had been interested in it.

The way I've done these before (I have a bunch of Angel "episodes" at FF.net) is that I release one Act at a time with about 4 acts per episode.

Names of characters and such:

If a character's name has already been confirmed to be one thing on the show, it is staying that way.

Bandora--Original Main. Villain. Yes, I am ripping the name from ZyuRanger, but what can I say? I've always thought the name was great for a villain. She is the mysterious force that fulfilled the Dark precepts and freed the demons from their prison beneath the surface. By willingly turning to dark magic, she has become more powerful than any demon leader has ever been.

Oragon--N. Ma's counterpart. Former leader of the demons until imprisonment, in accordance to the Dark Precepts, he has stepped down (Fugitively speaking) and uses his vast dark power to assist Bandora by creating monsters and making them grow.

Vamp--Vancuria's counterpart. She escaped the imprisonment and has spent the last 1000 years trying to free the other demons. She follows any who appears to be in charge.

Morticon--Branken's Counterpart. General in the war against the surface.

Knight Wolf--Demon warrior. Telling you now, he is not going to be any of the ranger's father. Just clearing that up now so comparisons to Darth Wolzard can be squashed before they are made.

Claire--Everything that I've been able to find has her as Udonna's apprentice, so that is what she shall be in this.

Selina Martin--The obligatory high school civilian character that all high school seasons are required to have.

Doug Kalish--Homage/tribute to the former and current Power Rangers Executive Producers Doug Sloan and Bruce Kalish. Chip's uncle and legal guardian. Uncle on Chip's mother's side, thus the different last names.

Released Evil Part 1

ACT ONE

FADE IN:

INT. CHAMBER -- DAY

We TRAVEL through a dark cavern full of weird rock formations. VAMP, A large BAT LIKE CREATURE flies down a tunnel, twists in mid-air and lands on her feet in front of a large pit.

The walls of the chamber filled with murmuring MORLOCKS.

Vamp looks around the chamber.

VAMP
The Dark Precepts have to pass. Morticon, you are free.

MORTICON, a large Frankenstein-like creature with mechanical head parts sits in a large throne.

MORTICON
We're free?

Vamp walks to the throne.

VAMP
After one thousand years, our battle continues.

Morticon SLAMS his fists on the arms of the throne.

MORTICON
What?! It's been that long?!

The mechanical portion of his head goes into overdrive and steam flies out.

He SLAMS his sword into the ground. He stands, enraged and heads out into the center of the chamber.

MORTICON (CON'T)
Morlocks! For one thousand years we have waited, now, we once again unleash our rage upon the surface world! Night Wolf! Gather your warriors, and prepare to attack!

The Morlocks cheer.

MORTICON (CON'T)
Show no mercy!

From a tunnel, a Purple Armor clad warrior appears. This is KNIGHT WOLF.

KNIGHT WOLF
It will be done.

EXT. NICK'S HOUSE -- LATER

As we travel through the city of Briarwood, NICK RUSSELL exits a house and passes a Realtor's sign that reads "SOLD". He stops in front of the sign and slings his backpack over his shoulder.

NICK
I hate this place already.

He walks over to a Motorcycle, and gets on He grabs the helmet laid prone on the handlebars, puts it on, starts it up and takes off.

EXT. FARM -- CONTINUOUS

We Stay on a small farm. A wooden BANGING is heard as we pan over to a barn.

CUT TO:

INT. BARN -- CONTINUOUS

Inside the barn is CHARLIE "CHIP" THORN. He has an empty mop bucket on his head and is holding the mop, using it's handle as a sword against a wooden wall that has a dragon drawn in chalk.

CHIP
Back, foul dragon!
(swings the "sword")
Thou shall avenge thy fallen comrades!

Chip swing the sword a few more times, providing his own sound effects as he does so.

Chip's uncle, DOUG KALISH steps up behind him.

DOUG
And if thou misses thy bus, thou will be walking to school.

Chip drops the mop and takes the bucket off his head. He quickly turns and faces Doug.

CHIP
Uncle Doug! I--

DOUG
Don't tell me. Just get to the bus.

Chip bends down and picks up his backpack and runs out of the barn.

Doug sighs. An eerie whistling noise is heard.

CUT TO:

INT. SCHOOL BUS -- MOMENTS LATER

ANGLE: CAMERA POV

A camera turns on and spins around so it faces MADISON ROCCA, the camera's operator.

She smiles.

MADISON
Hi, I'm Madison giving you a sneak peek into the craziness that is called Briarwood High.

Madison turns the camera next to her to see a half asleep VIDA ROCCA.

MADISON (O.S.)
Hey, Vida, say something.

VIDA
(Groggy)
Something.

MADISON (O.S.)
Sounds like someone needs a nap. Let's leave her alone.

VIDA
Good.

Madison turns the camera to the seat behind her and to XANDER BLY as the bus slows to a stop.

MADISON
Yes, this is good. Beautiful!

XANDER
(smiles)
I know.

MADISON
Modest too!

BACK TO SCENE

Madison shuts off the camera and lays it in her lap.

XANDER
How's the videography coming?

MADISON
Not too bad. Hey, Xander, maybe I could film your next gymnastic meet.

XANDER
I'd rather not. I get too nervous if I'm aware that someone's watching.

MADISON
And the gym filled to capacity doesn't bother you?

XANDER
They're not there just to see me. It's weird, I know.

MADISON
Don't worry about it.

SELINA MARTIN walks down the isle and gets into a seat.

XANDER
Looks like Chip missed the bus again. Great, if he's not there by first period, there goes half of our group presentation grade.

Selina stands.

SELINA
(To bus driver)
Um, hello? Why aren't we moving? There's no one else coming.

The bus driver holds up three fingers. Then two. Then one.

Chip DIVES through the open door and lands across the steps.

CHIP
Stop!

Chip stands, brushes himself off then sits in the seat next to Xander.

The bus driver closes the doors and the bus starts to move.

EXT. FOREST -- CONTINUOUS

In the forest, CLAIRE, a teen girl walks through the forest with a small basket in hand.

She suddenly STOPS. The wind blows a cold chill across her face. She drops the basket and runs back the way she came.

INT. ROOTCORE -- CONTINUOUS

Claire BURSTS into the Rootcore.

CLAIRE
Mistress Udonna! Mistress Udonna, where are you?

UDONNA (O.S.)
You felt it.

Claire turns to the large viewing globe that the guardian UDONNA is standing by.

UDONNA
That's good. That means you're getting stronger.

CLAIRE
Mistress, what does this mean?

UDONNA
It is as I have feared. The spell has been broken. The dark magic of the demons has been released once more.

CLAIRE
How could they have been freed?

UDONNA
I don't know. Get the Xenotome. It's time.

FADE OUT:

Act 2 is upcoming. I have to be honest, I'm not too, too happy on how Act 2 turned out. Hopefully when I get to Act three it will be smoother.

As for the Doug Kalish name, I thought the different reactions it causes would be worth it.

It was going to be Bruce Sloan, but I didn't like how it sounded.

ACT TWO

EXT. CASTLE -- DAY

We stay on a large castle to establish.

INT. CASTLE -- CONTINUOUS

The castle is dark and empty. Knight Wolf slowly walks the corridor.

A LARGE GLOWING PURPLE SYMBOL appears in the floor. Vamp, Morticon, and some Morlocks RISE from the symbol.

VAMP
Night Wolf, where did you disappear to?

KNIGHT WOLF
I did a quick sweep to see check out the area. The surface has changed.

VAMP
Disgusting, isn't it?

MORTICON
It's time we made things back to the way they once were!

VAMP
You are very eager, but perhaps it is better to wait.

MORTICON
We've been waiting for over one thousand years!

KNIGHT WOLF
We can wait a few more hours.

MORTICON
You dare question me?!

KNIGHT WOLF
Our orders are to wait here for our new master.

VAMP
Bandora will be here soon.

MORTICON
And just what are we supposed to do until then?

KNIGHT WOLF
I'd train if I were you. You could probably use the practice.

Knight Wolf slowly turns as another purple symbol appears beneath and he disappears.

Morticon's mechanical part of his head begins to steam again.

MORTICON
I'll show you!

Morticon does the same.

VAMP
Wait! What about Bandora?

CUT TO:

INT. ROOTCORE -- CONTINUOUS

Udonna holds the Xenotome in her hand.

UDONNA
I had hopped It wouldn't come down to this.

CLAIRE
I know, mistress.

Udonna places her hand over the viewing globe and closes her eyes.

UDONNA
I call upon the powers of light. Show me the warriors chosen to fight.

The viewing globe reacts. It quickly flashes images of Nick, Xander, Vida, Chip, and Madison at school.

CLAIRE
They're so young.

UDONNA
They have been chosen to save this world. It is out of everyone's hands now.

CUT TO:

INT. SCHOOL CAFETERIA -- LATER

In the cafeteria, Nick sits by himself as he eats his lunch. Chip sits in the seat across from him.

CHIP
Hi.

Nick looks up from his food, then looks around, then back to Chip.

NICK
Are...you talking to me?

CHIP
You're new.

NICK
I know.

CHIP
You looked lonely, and you don't know the story of this table.

NICK
What story?

Chip waves his finger motioning for Nick to lean closer. He does.

CHIP
It was about a year ago...

Chip whispers an inaudible story to Nick. Nick suddenly looks disgusted.

NICK
Well, I'm done.

CHIP
Yeah, it's gross. Hey, you want to sit with me and my friends at a non gross table?

NICK
Yeah. I'm Nick, by the way.

CHIP
I'm Chip.
(stands)
The table's over here.

Chip and Nick head towards the table Xander, Vida, and Madison are at.

Selina bumps into Chip as he walks.

SELINA
Watch it, chess club!

Selina storms off.

NICK
You know, I've always wanted to learn how to play chess.

CHIP
We don't have a chess club.

NICK
Then why did she --

CHIP
-- Been trying to figure that one out for years.

Chip and Nick sit at the table.

MADISON
Hi, Chip.

CHIP
Hey. Everyone, this is Nick, Nick this is everyone. All right, we're all introduced.

VIDA
So, how do you like Briarwood so far?

NICK
I really don't.

CHIP
Look at that, fitting in already.

NICK
You don't like it here?

CHIP
I doubt I would even live if my parents hadn't died in that car accident.

NICK
I'm sorry.

CHIP
Don't worry about it, I was two when it happened. Besides, the only good thing about living here is you guys.

VIDA
That was sappy.

MADISON
Vida!

CHIP
I don't care.

NICK
What's with that weird looking forest I passed getting here.

XANDER
No one goes there.

NICK
Why not?

CHIP
Well, it's called the Forbidden Forest, so that's the principle on which we avoid it.

NICK
So, basically, you're all scared.

CHIP
Yes.

XANDER
No!

CHIP
No.

VIDA
All right, We'll give you the full tour. We'll go there after school today.

NICK
Great.

INT. CHAMBER -- LATER

Morticon and Knight Wolf are sparing around the pit. Morticon swings his sword, Knight Wolf blocks it and pushes Morticon back.

A LIGHTNING BOLT lands between them, the force of the bolt sending both Morticon and Knight Wolf flying across the chamber.

In the spot of the lightning strike now stands a YOUNG WOMAN. She is covered in a cloak-like attire and has a dark veil that almost completely covers her face. In her hand, she holds a staff. This is BANDORA.

VAMP
Bandora! Please forgive us, I was simply going to get them an--

Bandora BANGS her staff on the ground. Vamp stops talking.

Bandora walks over to the throne and sits in it.

She speaks in a voice that both sounds eerie and echoes around the chamber.

BANDORA
One would think that after one thousand years, you'd want to get out of this place.

Nobody says anything.

BANDORA (CON'T)
It's becoming clear on how you were trapped in the first place.

KNIGHT WOLF
Forgive us for our insubordination.

BANDORA
There is a great power about to be unleashed. I sense the presence of Ice Magic guarding it.

MORTICON
(growls)
Udonna.

BANDORA
It is coming from the Forbidden Forest. Knight Wolf! You will prevent this power from becoming a problem, and bring me the Ice Magic wand.

KNIGHT WOLF
It will be dealt with at once.

The purple Symbol appears under Knight Wolf and he disappears.

BANDORA
Nothing will stand in my way!
