Montreal to LA, Hilton Pasadena from the 26 to the 30th of August for 1029$C for 150 less there's the cheaper 2 star Pasadena Inn which seems decent as far as cheap hotel go... the rooms come with a fridge and microwave, that's always a plus.

Not bad... though I hope they have a shuttle service to LAX, the cab ride must be expensive oO

Yeah, don't take a cab anywhere in LA if you can afford it, they cost an arm and a leg. And you have to call ahead to get them, anyway.

I'll handle this lol. My experience shall come into play. I'll make a separate thread for it so we can set up some ideas, because things like T-shirts or pins will take time.


As for everyone else, we'll plan something somewhere that's non-disruptive. Heck maybe a couple of us can go in on getting a suite. Or if all else fails I'll find a restaurant close to the convention that has private seating, and i'll make us a reservation.

I like the pins idea. Means cosplayers can still represent. :thumbs:

As for restaurants, the mall in Pasadena is directly across the street from the Convention Center, and it's got loads of restaurants. Look up "Paseo Colorado" to find out what they are, if you're curious.

Again Chris, I told you I meant no disrespect yet you come back with negativity. Every convention has it's own breed of corporate giants breathing down their neck. I, myself, am clinical OCD so i knwo all about what that takes to plan. It's easy to be nitpicky without being negative. If you keep a doom and gloom attitude you will make yourself a frazzled mess and miserable and the ocn goers will feel that too. Clam down because as long as you focus ont he right details and relax EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE. Remember that. All it takes is focus, well planning, and attention to detail, it doesn't take thinking that everything is going to blow up. Calm down and take a breath, and I guarantee the convention will run a LOT smoother.
