poll: kamen rider kabuto v shadow moon

Edit: Oh, and don't Riders have charts that list punching power? If Shadow Moon was on Black's level then its safe to say that they're about equal. So can't you compare that and THEN add in what feats were done?

Yeah, along with kicking power, max jumping height, distance covered in a certain amount of time, etc. However, they only started keeping really good track of that stuff with Kuuga, and for a lot of the older Riders there's usually only jumping stats or some such, and even those tend to disagree, so I don't offhand know if Shadow Moon had any sort of "definitive" punching/kicking power stats like Kabuto does. So I just leave it at "He's hella powerful".

The next "vs." poll should be "Kamen Rider Kick Hopper vs. Battle Hopper", I'll vote for Battle Hopper only because it could just run Kick Hopper over.

Shadow Moon Vs. Kabuto? Its sooo obveous, Eric the Quantum Ranger!

Joking, But Really, I'm not voting. Why? Cause I'll say Kabuto when I haven't seen a bit of Shadow Moon(or Black at all) when he obveously is a major badass. So no vote for me:anime:

Yeah, Keith and Sage are right, the Rider with the better special effects would win and logic has no place is debates! I should have read that issue of Scientific Proof magazine.

.......:disappoin I totally thought you were going to say something sensible and trump me like you usually did. But you come with this. WTF are you even talking about? You're so intent on telling everyone that there's no way for them to vote anything aside from their favorites and trying to prove that speedblitz sucks that you almost ignored everything I said. That's a bitch move, Santa. (Ten points for whoever catches where that quote came from.)

But whatever. Iga said there's no stats for Riders pre-Kuuga so I guess there really isn't any way to tell exactly how strong Shadow Moon is. So I'll say something I've never said before: Bolt, you're right. We can't know who would win.

Actually, I never said anything about Clock-Up (it has an official name, use it) sucking, I'm just using saying one of many, many variables that you'd have to take into consideration instead of the kind of barebones arguing you seem content with (Tendou has Clock-Up, therefore he wins). Like I said, maybe Tendou's enemies are weaker than Black's. I could do a bunch of fancy moves and look rough beating up a bunch of 7 year olds too, but that doesn't make me tougher than the next guy. Maybe Shadow Moon's armor is strong enough to hold up to Kabuto's attacks. Maybe Shadow Moon is a better hand-to-hand fighter. MAYBE Shadow Moon has an attack we don't even know about where he just blows up everything in the universe. MAYBE Shadow Moon has a Tendou-Proof shield. See? All you guys are doing is speculating and calling it fact. Your comparison with Connor doesn't work because it's too obvious. That's like saying "I'm pretty sure this lion could kill this baby duckling, I mean look at all the lion's upgrades!" You've never even seen Shadow Moon and I assume (correct me if I'm wrong) that you really don't know anything about him or Black in general, and you can't prove or disprove any of the variables I've listed, which proves that the theory I've been sticking to disproves your "speculative-proof," which proves that you should maybe just watch more Toku before jumping into this kind of thing headfirst. ;)

Bolt, you're right. We can't know who would win.

I know.

Special effects shouldn't be a factor. It should be based on the powers the characters are intended to have in context of their stories. Effects are just a tool for conveying those ideas.

Exacally.

Watching people defend a character OVER another character that they have never even seen is halarious.

Personally, The only opinions I've taken seriously in this entire debate are of those who have seen both. This is like me saying it's nicer in Germany than it is in England, even though I've only been to Germany.

All this is really turning into is another Old vs. New Argument where the ones defending the New have ONLY seen the new and the ones defending the Old have pretty much been on both sides of the fence (remember the Bioman debate?).

Bottom Line, if you haven't seen both Kabuto & KR Black then you really have no place to put one guy over the other. Only a moron would do something as uneducated as this. If you've seen both and still put Kabuto over Moon, then that is something I can respect because you've seen them.

That's all for me in this debate. I can only come back into this when the other parties have watched KR Black and are up to date on Kabuto.
