poll: kamen rider kabuto v shadow moon

JC, he's the Rider Master here. So for him to even say that tells you Shadow Moon is one tought s.o.b. and that there is a reason as to why people chose Shadow Moon, and not just for him being a favourite.

Hey, I'm not saying you guys are totally wrong. I just get suspecious cuz whenever something like this comes up, it's whoever's the most vintage always seem to win and anyone modern is made to look like a bumbling ametuer of a fighter.

Like Agito versus Kabuto... aside for this latest badmotherfucker of a power up, straight out of the gate Kabuto could take out Agito. With this latest tho... where Agito is able to power up using the sun, now Agito's more powerful... but I haven't seen Tendou in Hyper Mode yet.

I'm just sayin'... I just get suspicious when I see these and it's the oldie who seems to always win for some.

You might be right tho. After I'm done with Agito, I'm hittin' up Black so I can decide for myself.

Not in my book. I choose the one who'd win. Still doesn't make my favorite any less cool. I mean, just base it off the fighting abilities and powers of the fighter and who ever would win... would win.

It's still a moot point because there's no way you could possibly know. These characters are fictional. It's not like there's a "Power Level" in the Kamen Rider universe and Tendou's is higher. Sure Tendou looks tough when he's knocking Worms around and sure Black got beat up a lot; maybe Kabuto's enemies are just weak compared to Black's? Just because the newer show has better fight choreography doesn't mean that Tendou is a "better fighter." Sure Clock-Up is fast and pretty, but if the opponent can withstand all his attacks in those few seconds, then what? All Shadow Moon would need is a split second to impale Kabuto. Kabuto has been roughed up by Drake, next you're going to tell me he's stronger than anybody in Black too because he could get the upper hand on your little god Tendou? It's impossible to choose without arguing for your favorite because there IS no answer. It's pretty pompous to just assume you know enough to be like "Here's how it is in MY book!"

Actually, implying that it's even possible to "choose without playing favorites" is pretty ignorant, as whichever one you like more, you're going to make excuses on their behalf. It's not like these are real people to fight so there can be any real comparison; the only way to choose is by picking your favorite.

*coughs* You're awesome Bolt, but sometimes you're sooooo full of it. :anime: I've numerous times called a fight in favor of someone I hate because its pretty clear who would win. Case in point. Sorry folks, but Power-Whore Conner would kick Jason's ass in a morphed fight. Even though MMPR Jason is a better martial artist, and even though his powers are a hell of a lot more durable, and even though Conner's a total fucking douchebag. When you stack three powers on top of each other, you're bound to win nearly every fucking fight you're ever in. :disappoin No, I don't like it, and I don't like to admit it, but...*shrug*...the truth is the truth.

Anyways....there's something to be said for speedblitz. But applying physics to a show like Kabuto is impossible. Technically, anything a Rider from Kabuto hits in Clock Up should immediately go *splat*. The faster you go the more mass is behind your punch (Flash's "infinite mass" punches, anyone?), and Riders already have SICK punching power (in the fucking ton-range, right?), so ton-strength punch + moving so fast it looks like everyone else is fucking standing still + laws of physics = *splat*. But they've never applied that in the show so oh well. Seems like Hyper Kabuto is around that level though, what with the way he totally OWNS a bunch of worms in a gust of wind. :laugh:

But bottom line, I've never seen Shadow Moon. I've got the first 20 eps of BLACK and he ain't in 'em. When I finally check him out, I'll be able to say.

Edit: Oh, and don't Riders have charts that list punching power? If Shadow Moon was on Black's level then its safe to say that they're about equal. So can't you compare that and THEN add in what feats were done?

Again, I'm not a person who's going to pick a favorite, so I'm not going to make up whatever to make sure he wins. Like Sage said, I haven't seen the episodes. So, I really can't say.

i think he was just trying to make a point about how people would usually vote for their favorite character, like the many many many jason versus connor or jason versus (fill in the blank) polls that sites such as Rangertalk have, he's saying that most people would vote jason automatically because he's their favorite instead of looking at the facts. :laugh:

This was a good comparison too, cuz without even thinking about it, I'd vote Jason.

Still, I'd rather Jason still be 100x cooler and not a tool and not win the fight than him be a tool like Connor and win.
