Pokemon DP Pre-Reserve Images

Yes, Nintendo had finally released images of the Diamond and Pearl "syluses" that come as a reservation bonus. They're not all so impressive, but kinda neat anyway. The stylus case was unexpected, and I'll be interested to see what it looks like in three dimensions....

From what I can find on various Canadian sites, including Nintendo's, is that there is no planned reservation special. I did encounter conflicting release dates, though ^_^; The US date is set for April 22nd, but NoC lists it as the 25th, and Amazon.ca says it's the 21st. So *shrug* watch for it I guess! ^_^;

Really I'm a little undecided on the stylus. It looks kind of neat, but the way I carry my DS in my coat pocket, having something sticking out the top like that wouldn't be very practical...

I'd keep it for home playing. It's just neat looking.

Oh, also found some good photos of the box art. All the official images make them look flat and boring, but these pics reveal a much SHINIER package ^_^ Maybe only I care because I'm a graphic designer, but they still look a lot cooler than I thought they were going to...

I think most people do, and it's going to result in Diamond selling a bazillion more copies than Pearl :redface2: I, for the time ever, am getting both versions at launch, and just because everybody else is playing diamond, I'm going to start with Pearl. I'll also be taking the least-popular fire starter since all the girls think the water one is "SOOOOOO CUUUUUUTEEE!!!!!" and all the guys say "I'm down with that grass guy, he's cool (and I can beat all the girls with him)". Anyway, yeah, I like both of the designs, but Dialga definitely has an edgier, more appealing design while Palkia looks more white and pure, almost like a god of sorts.

Of course, Palkia controls time, which is often thought of as white and empty, and Dialga space, which is of course black ^_^; Okay, I'm shutting up now lol
