I'm not really big on the starters this time around... I hate monkeys >< and the grass one looks silly... the penguin is cute but it's evolution look...clunky and not very agile.

Normally I don't like grass-types but I might go for him.

I would buy both version too, but I don't have the cash so I'll go for Diamond. I don't like Pialka's big round shoulders and elongated head...if it wasn't for those it might have looked decent.

The good man means these beauties (and don't we all wish they were the North American specials?)....

The Dialga and Palkia ones came with their respective versions, but if you did both you also got the starter one. They were ONLY available at the Japanese Pokemon Center stores, much to Mega Ranger's chagrin as he was within feet of the blasted things ^_^;;

A friend of mine bought Diamond because that was the version most copies were in circulation in the second-hand market ... so yes, perhaps it is the more popular version of the two.

He also started playing with Kouzaru (the fire-monkey) because apparently his girlfriend of tells him he acts like a monkey :anime:
