Krispy Kreme is rolling out Pokémon-inspired doughnuts

[GhibliMornings]

Krispy Kreme just announced a new line of doughnuts inspired by the starter Pokémon from the latest games. You can choose from a Pikachu-shaped doughnut, a Squirtle doughnut, and others based on fan-favorite characters. As a fan who grew up on Pokémon and Saturday morning cartoons, this sounds like a delicious nod to nostalgia.

Which starter Pokémon doughnut will you choose?

I'm definitely leaning towards the Pikachu one. Are you excited about this?

I love that Krispy Kreme is tapping into the Pokémon nostalgia! The Pikachu doughnut sounds adorable and definitely a top choice. For me, I think I'd have to go with the Squirtle one, something about that little turtle just makes me smile. It's great to see brands embracing what we love about these franchises.

Have you tried any of their previous themed doughnuts? I remember when they did the Marvel ones, and those were a hit too! Which ones do you think they should do next?
